Description 31 acres with 6 identifiable habitats, 2,000+ varieties of exotic trees and shrubs, and a natural play trail for children. Pets Welcome (on leash), Limited Wheelchair Accessibility, Public Restrooms, Groups Welcome Location From I-81 Take exit #188B. Follow Rt. 60 west. Turn left on Lee Avenue (8th stoplight). Go one block until Lee Avenue ends, turn right on Preston Street and (almost immediately) turn left on Jackson Avenue. Follow Jackson Avenue for 5 blocks and turn right onto Ross Road. Follow Ross Road for 9/10 mile. Boxerwood is on the left. From I-64 Take exit #55. Follow Rt. 11 south. As you go over the Maury River Bridge Rt. 11 will split. Merge to the right (Rt. 11 Business). As you come into downtown Lexington turn right on Washington Street. Turn left on Lee Avenue. Go 2 blocks until Lee ends, turn right on Preston Street and (almost immediately) turn left on Jackson Avenue. Follow Jackson Avenue for 5 blocks and turn right onto Ross Road. Follow Ross Road for 9/10 mile. Boxerwood is on the left. Admission Free – contributions welcome. Hours Daily dawn-dusk.
