BLAST FROM
THE PAST
Reminiscent of a time gone by, while visiting Lexington make sure
you give the Pink Cadillac Diner a try. The Pink Cadillac Diner is
an original 1950’s diner. Enjoy their famous “ELVIS” burger and the
50’s music on the jukebox. Later take your date to a drive-in movie
at Hull’s Drive-In. Hull’s Drive-In opened in 1950 and was run by
the same family for four decades. It is now America’s only
non-profit, community-owned drive-in movie theater.

A CHILD’S
VACATION
Natural Bridge is an ideal location for a vacation with your child.
First you’ll enjoy seeing the Natural Bridge; one of Virginia’s most
cherished natural wonders. You can continue past the bridge to the
Monacan Indian Village where you can assist or observe Monacan
Indians with such daily tasks as canoe building, hide tanning or
preparation of meals. If your child enjoys the slightly bizarre you
don’t want to miss the Haunted Monster Museum, which has been
described as a place where “Scooby Doo meets the Twilight Zone.”
Finally, to top off your trip to Natural Bridge children and adults
alike absolutely love to visit the Virginia Safari Park. The
Virginia Safari Park is 180-acre preserve with hundreds of
free-roaming animals that you may view from your own vehicle or see
while on a wagon tour. Three miles of road take you through the
beautiful Shenandoah Valley country side where you may see herds of
bison, elk, zebra, ostrich, and many more.
