SKIING
Three ski resorts are located within a one-hour drive from Lexington.

Wintergreen Resort – Seventeen slopes and trails, snow board park, rentals. 434-325-2200. Off I-64 near Waynesboro and Charlottesville.

The Homestead Resort – Skiing, tubing and outdoor ice skating. 800-838-1766. In Warm Springs, Rt. 39 to Rt. 220.

Massanutten Resort – Fourteen slopes and tubing. 540-289-9441. Near Harrisonburg, off I-81.
